African Facilities Management is a network founded in 2016 by an assortment of facilities management professionals whose action agenda was to establish the facilities management industry as the foremost contributor to a productive and sustainable built environment through excellent and innovative management of facilities services in Africa.
AFMN contacted me needing a new website and a corporate identity that could improve their brand equity and organic reach. The website was also supposed to provide registered members exclussive access to Facility Management info and government regulations.launch Site
AFMN is a network of professionals from different regions in Africa. Therefore, getting decision-makers with conflicting aesthetics to agree on various imagery, layout, and navigation options – and approve them posed as the main challenge.
As a result, it was a challenge on my part trying to understand what was most important to the client, and determining the best course-of-action for showcasing those elements.
To address the first challenge, I offered the clients a number of different design options for them to analyze, debate, and ultimately select during the initial strategy process.
Secondly, I developed proper conversion funnels for their multiple visitor demographics in order to develop a navigation that fitted all of their needs.
