Posters as always provide a cost-effective and logical medium to communicate your agenda, as was the case with Mr. David Okelo - to a targetted audience. 

When Mr. David contacted me to handle his brand image during the Kenyan Electrocal Elections, I felt priviledged. However, we didn't really have enough time to dwell on my new found priviledge. Reasons: Mr. David's campaign brand was already underway. He had contracted a branding company to handle his brand awareness - but for apparent reasons, it wasn't drawing the required attention to his target audience. We had to re-think the entire branding.

My first objective was to understand his target audience. What kind of priciples, behavioral habits did they indulge in on a daily basis. 

Mr. David was a 1st time entrant in the race for the Member of Parliament for the Mbita Constituency; therefore, we had to establish a bradn position for him among the Party faithful. 

We decided that by enhancing the Party's colors and Logo was a sure way to draw more attention to the faithfuls. Additionally, we incorporated the Party's falg-bearear, Mr. Raila Odinga in the background to remind the people that he was a chosen represantitive, by their Baba - as they called him.
